How do I re-set my favorites or bookmarks for library resources and why do I have to do this?

To re-set any favorites or bookmarks, search in the UH Library Catalog for the title of any database or electronic journal. Open up the catalog record for the title and right click with your mouse on the link for UH Main campus users only. When the box opens up with the various options, click on save to favorites in Internet Explorer or bookmark this link in Mozilla Firefox.

Our proxy service is set-up to be a prefix to a standard URL for all of the library resources and this is what helps authenticate you as an authorized user of the libraries resources. If you are not being asked for your CougarNet ID and password then you are at the wrong authentication screen and must try to reach the resource from the UH Library Catalog or from the Libraries web pages.
