OneSearch will return journal articles relevant to your search term(s) from thousands of journals that the University of Houston subscribes to, all at one time.

To limit your search to online articles only:

  1. After conducting a search and generating a list of results, click 'Full Text Online' to the left of the search results.
  1. A new results list will appear containing only journal articles available online.

To access the article:

  1. Click ‘View Online’. You will be directed to the article within the publisher’s website.
  2. Look for a ‘download PDF’ button, and click it to download and save the article.

You should note the journal title, volume, issue, and page number of your article which are all viewable right from the OneSearch results screen. OneSearch relies on various systems to link to the search results directly from the OneSearch results screen. If the ‘View Online’ link does not work, you can search for the journal title in the Electronic Journal List, and then navigate to the correct volume, issue, and page number to find your article.
