I am glad the MD Anderson Library might be of some use to you.
Unfortunately, reservations are not available for non-students. If you visit us ask at the Service Desk and they will direct you to the non-locking, no checkout required, individual study spaces.
Regarding other resources for non-students, we have:
a handful of public use PCs, see Service Desk for sign in procedure;
general access databases (if it asks for a Cougarnet sign in then the license limits it to students); and
book check out for TexShare card holders.
A current TexShare card from your home institution in Texas, e.g. your local public library, can be used to activate checkout priveleges at the Service Desk.
Bring your driver's license or other gov't issued ID to sign in as a visitor with the security officer at the front entrance of the library.
Please note that the end of the fall term and the holidays will affect our operating hours. See https://uh.libcal.com/hours/ for the current operating hours.
Best wishes,
